Day 1: Christchurch to Mt Cook via Geraldine, Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki and spend the night at the Hermitage Hotel in the amazing Mt Cook National Park. Winter or summer this is one of the most spectacular places on earth.
Day 2: Mt Cook to Queenstown – the resort town of NZ with plenty of action, thrills or perhaps a round of golf on one of the award winning golf courses.
Day 3: Free day Queenstown for your thrill seeking, golf or perhaps a side trip to Lake Wanaka.
Day 4: Today we helicopter into Te Anau and Milford Sound (or we can drive you in) and spend the day exploring the Sounds. We head back to Queenstown for the evening.
Day 5: We drive from Queenstown to Dunedin via the amazing Central Otago – home of the gold rush days and power stations and dams. We spend the evening in the historic "Scottish" city of Dunedin.
Day 6: Our final day sees us travel from Dunedin to Christchurch via the interesting Moreaki Boulders and the towns of Timaru and Ashburton. Along the way we stop and visit a farm and get some hands on experience of shearing a sheep. We end our tour in Christchurch in time for dinner at Willowbank where the Maori Cultural group will perform and teach you the Maori haka (like the All Blacks rugby team) and you see our native Kiwi birds come out at night.
